Because we are made to...

We know this way of life might seem a little unconventional. But for us, it’s deeply intentional. Ramsey Heritage Farms exists not simply to farm, but to form—our family, our faith, and the way we live each day.

We’ll be honest—this life might look a little crazy from the outside. But for us, farming has never been the end goal. It’s the means by which we raise our family to be strong, grounded, and rooted in faith and reality.

Our Catholic faith is the foundation of everything we do. We begin each day by entrusting our work to God, striving—however imperfectly—to let that faith shape our choices, our work, and our family life. We believe one of the most powerful ways to encounter Christ is through stewardship: not just admiring creation, but actively caring for it.

Farming allows us to step into that role and participate in something much bigger than ourselves.

As parents, we see the farm as a place of formation. It’s where our children learn not only practical skills, but deeper truths—about hard work, responsibility, life and death, and the dignity of all creation. It keeps us rooted in reality, where effort matters, where nothing is taken for granted, and where lessons can’t be simulated or skipped.

At its heart, Ramsey Heritage Farms is a place to build a life together—spiritually and physically. It’s where we work side by side, pass on what we’ve learned, and give our children a place to grow, explore, and become who they’re meant to be.
